People have always had a problem when it comes to choosing what kind of chair to have in the office…many times people choose chairs without due consideration for many aspects that eventually end up with chairs that are uncomfortable and  impractical

One thing to always remember is that you may sit in an office chair for up to seven hours a day and therefore you should be careful when choosing that chair

Here are a few guidelines to help you

Back rest

A good office chair should have a good back rest and support since you will sit on it for hours on end. This support should be adjustable and flexible

Arm rest

A good office chair should have an arm rest to support your arms when not typing away at your computer keyboard or writing.

Height adjustment

A good office chair should be flexible when it comes to height…it should be able to accommodate all your needs by simply adjusting a knob and a lever

Rotating ability

A good office chair should enable you to rotate easily on any direction with ease…the rotating ability enables you to avoid stretching your neck when turning to get files of when talking with colleagues

Color

A good office chair should have dull colors or conservative colors…sure reception area seats should be colorful to provide an aura of warmth but back office chairs should be conservative

If having a conservative color is not an option the companies’ corporate colors should be adopted or at least the wall or floor colors should be interndem with the chairs

The key here is to not draw attention

Cushion

A good chair should have proper cushion since one will spend hours sited…this cushion should protect one from pains and aches besides ensure you are comfortable

Material

A good chair should be made to last since we are looking to reducecosts…durable materials include leather, plastic and metal..A wooden chair is not feasible here

Easy clean

No one wants to have a chair that stains easily and is hard to clean, this is especially so for an office chair...Unclean chairs reflect badly on a companies image besides make your work environment be come bad.

Office space

A good office chair should be considerate to office space that is it should not eat too much office space…there for if your office is small please look for small chairs otherwise you will eat up all your office space

Roll over

A good office chair should be able to roll since one constantly moves around in the office looking for files, discussing business,etc…no one wants to carry around a chair all day

Leg casings and pads

Have ever seen those torn carpets, broken down tiles, scratched floors, rust-stained floors etc…do you know what causes them? , The legs of chairs…when purchasing chairs please ensure that they have good leg pads so that they don’t damage your floors
